What is Thai Yoga Massage?
The word "massage" can be misleading, as in Western culture we tend to picture a spa-like massage experience involving lotions and lying on a massage table.
Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient form of bodywork practice that includes passive yoga stretches, meditation, palming, and thumbing along the body’s energy lines (meridians) to allow for greater energy flow throughout the body.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is an energy healing technique in which a practitioner uses gentle hand movements with the intention to guide the flow of healthy energy (what’s known in Reiki as life force energy) through the client's body to
reduce stress and activate healing.
Reiki is a beautiful complement to Thai Yoga Therapy, as it will promote healing on multiple levels in one session.

What can I expect in a session?
At the beginning of the session we will do a brief intake in which I'll gather information from you about the reasons that are bringing you in.
During a Thai Yoga Massage you are fully clothed, so I encourage you to wear comfortable and loose fitting clothing, and I recommend bringing a water bottle to hydrate after your session. Instead of being on a massage table you will be lying on a cushioned mat on the floor. I will be working within your body's abilities to create various therapeutic positions and stretches.
As with everything I do, I add my own flavor to it by integrating Reiki into each session as well. You'll experience the benefits of your session on MANY levels - mind, body & spirit!
You have the option to select a 1.5 hour of 2 hour session.
