Understanding Emotional EatingI am beyond excited to announce my upcoming emotional eating series at the Symmes location of Elemental OM! Do yourself struggling with unwanted eating behaviors such as overeating, binge eating, or emotional eating? This 4-week series in September will allow you to identify your personal emotional eating patterns, give you tools to take back your power around food, and begin to heal your relationship with food and your body. Society will have you believe that happiness lies on the other side of weight loss, more money, and different relationships. What if I told you true happiness, joy & pleasure are already here, within you? Join the revolution and finally put an end to diet cycling for good! Learn to tune into your body's wisdom to cultivate a relationship with food and your body that you never knew existed. Let's take a look at what each week of this series will entail! Week 1: Acknowledge We can't heal what we don't acknowledge. You will leave Week 1 with emotional eating tools to increase your awareness of your fears around food or your body, your specific triggers, and an understanding of your personal emotional eating patterns. This will lay the groundwork and open up the opportunity to finally heal! Week 2: Heal If you were asked to list all of the things you love, how long before you listed yourself? After identifying your emotional eating triggers, the healing can begin. During Week 2 you will take your power back around food and begin to heal your relationship with food and your body. Week 3: Honor What does it mean to live fully in your body? Week 3 will empower you to look more deeply at your cravings and the wisdom & insight they can provide. What can your cravings teach you? Week 4: Accept When is the last time you felt truly comfortable in your skin? Acceptance and peace is where your true power lies. The final week will be a culmination of the entire series. This will include tuning into your body's infinite wisdom and understanding that healing does not include diets and deprivation.
