I absolutely love making this plant-based lasagna. It's perfect any time of year but what I love most about this lasagna is how light and bright the flavors are, which makes it a lovely option when you want lasagna but don't want a super heavy dairy and meat-filled meal.
I've been having some fun in the kitchen lately and am excited to share my current favorite: no-bake energy balls full of anti-inflammatory and hormone balancing ingredients!
These will satisfy your sweet tooth while benefiting any inflammation or hormone imbalances you may be experiencing.
This chocolate chip zucchini banana bread is one of my go-to items to bake. This bread is versatile enough to enjoy on a lazy weekend, and if it's not all gone by Sunday, can be a great on-the-go weekday breakfast.
If you are following a specific eating regimen, this recipe is Paleo, gluten free, dairy free, and does not contain any refined sugar.
I feel like I'm facilitating a new relationship with my body now that I have this Endometriosis diagnosis. The last 6 years have been a battle of trying to find answers, and now that I have an answer, a whole new journey begins. This is a journey of sitting with this chronic illness and finding the wisdom it is here to teach me. I am also learning to treat my pain and inflammation. There is no cure for Endometriosis, but I can take steps each day to keep my inflammation down and to manage my pain the best I can.
The cooler temperatures have finally arrived and it looks like they're here to stay!
As I mentioned in my previous post, I am currently on a healing journey after being diagnosed with Dyshidrotic eczema. On this healing journey, I've been examining the foods I eat and have been going back to basics. I feel my body is needing a massive reset due to the amount of inflammation it has been experiencing. Reducing this inflammation and preventing future flare-ups involves keeping things simple- my food, my commitments, my life in general. I am honoring my body and giving it what it is requesting of me.
